'RAB ready to jump on terrorists as per list’

It has a list of terrorists, prepared by an advance team which had visited Khulna in March to get an idea about law and order in the region, arranger logistics and other facilities for the 140-member team, said a highly placed source in Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP).

Preparations are "almost complete to jump on terrorists as per the list", he said.

Crime-prone and outlaw-infested districts under Khulna division will come under RAB operation, he said.

They have been lodged temporality at Mirerdanga RRF headquarters and KNM officers' colony at Khalishpur.

The team will be divided into seven squads, each headed by an officer.

RAB members will be provided with all logistic support required for carrying out operations.
