'Controversial' RU recruits agitate on campus
The 'controversially recruited' employees of Rajshahi University (RU) yesterday brought out a procession and held a rally on the campus and announced a six-day agitation program beginning today to press confirmation of their services.
Their programmme includes human chain, sit-in, protest meeting and procession on Rajshahi court premises and view exchange with university staff and officials.
At the rally, they called upon RU authorities to confirm their services by one month or t face "tougher movement".
The procession led by Mothiar thana Jubo Dal President Abdul Kuddus Dolar and Karmochari Samanoy Parishad convener Rafiqul Islam Sadar paraded the campus.
