Man killed by outlaws in Kushtia

One person was killed allegedly by outlawed criminals on Thursday night at Moslempur village in Daulatpur upazila.

The dead was Galim Uddin, 35, son of Huzur Ali.

Local BNP claimed the dead to be their activist.

Police said a gang belonging to an outlawed party stormed Galim's house and shot at him point blank after dragging him out of the house. Galim died in the spot.

The outlaws also beat up Galim's pregnant wife Tahamina Khatun and looted their belongings.

Police recovered the body and sent it to Kushtia General Hospital for autopsy.

Three persons were arrested for their alleged involvement in the incident.

The arrested are Kausar, 45, Khaleq, 40, and Mohammad Ali, 42, from Sadipur village.
