Satkhira college principal's removal demanded

They have been demanding removal of the principal for alleged misappropriation of over Tk 7 lakh from the college fund.

They also locked the principal's room, office room and college gate.

Agitating teachers, staffs and students in a press conference at Khan chamber here on August 18 told that soon after joining the college as principal, Mominur Rahman misappropriated the college fund. But the ruling Four-party Alliance lawmaker Kazi Alauddin, also chairman of the college and Debhata Thana BNP secretary Mohiuddin Siddique member of the college are trying to save him.

Forty-four out of 46 teachers, five staffs and over 100 girl students attended the press conference.
