Banoripara Poura Chairman barred from office for 3 months

A High Court Bench comprising Justice Md. Jainul Abedin and Justice Md. Sharifuddin Chakladar passed the order follwing filing of a writ petition by Ward Commissioner Manirul Alam, according to a letter received at Banoripara municipal office from local government ministry on Saturday.

Earlier on July 12, Alam had expressed 'no confidence' against the chairman for his alleegd corruption and irregularities.

During his absence paurasava activities will be run by the First Panel Chairman, the ministry letter said.
