BDR man shot dead by smugglers in Kushtia
A BDR man was killed when a gang of smugglers opened fire on a patrol team at Bilgathua border point in Daulatpur upazila in the early hours of S aturday.

A gang about 10 to 12 armed smugglers waylaid the team and opened fire when it reached Bilgathua, killing Yuakub on the spot. The gang then disappeared into the darkness.
Hearing the shots, another BDR team rushed there and recovered the body.
BDR patriol has been intensified in the area.
