Runner editor's death anniversary observed
The 6 th death anniversary of R M Saiful Alam Mukul, editor of local Bangla daily Runner, was observed here on Monday.
Journalists arranged a Quran Khwani, Milad Mahfil and a discussion meeting at Jessore Press Club and brought out a mourning procession in the town protesting violence.
Some goats were distributed among some destitute women for poverty alleviation.
Some socio-cultural bodies also arranged Milad Mahfil and discussion meetings. Mukul Friends' Forum also formed a human chain.
