Tk 4 cr agri recovery plan for Netrakona

The programme includes distribution of Aman, Boro, wheat, maize, pulse and vegetables seeds among 71,400 flood affected farmers. The work has started and the affected areas and farmers are being given he seeds as per lists prepared by block supervisors of the Agriculture Extension Department (AED).

Of the recipients, 8,985 are in the Sadar upazila, 6,165 in Durgapur, 6,240 in Kalmakanda, 7,380 in Mohanganj, 6,165 in Barhatta, 7,275 in Kendua, 6,300 in Atpara, 8,834 in Madan and 7,515 in Khaliajuri upazila.

Netrakona AED Deputy Director Abdul Jabber Miah said rehabilitation work will continue till the Rabi reason.
