KCC commissioner Shahu remanded
The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate has granted prayer of DB police to take Ward Commissioner Golam Mawla Shanu on remand for a day for interrogation in journalist Humayun Kabir Babu murder case. But the CMM has ordered the IO to interrogate him a the office of Jailor of Khulna district Jail. Inspector Mohiuddin Ahmed of KMP DB had submitted a petition to the CMM on Saturday for seven days remand of Shanu in journalist Babu murders case. Shahu, a 'isted notorious terrorist' and KCC commissioner elected from Ward No. 26 has been given death penalty by Judge of Rajshahi Speedy Trial Tribunal in the sensational AL Mayoral candidate SMA Rob murder case. The judgement was delivered on last August 11. Shanu surrendered to Khulna Judges' court on August 12.
