Illegal liquor factory demolished

Hundreds of people led by Botlagari UP (Union Parishad) chairman Syedur Rahman launched a joint raid and demolished the 'Bangla liquor' manufacturing factory.

A brisk business of 'Bangla liquor' was going on in Hindupara area of Koya Golahat village near Syedpur town for a long time. Though the matter was known to police, yet they did not take action against the violators of law. People brought it to notice of police on several occasions, but they were indifferent to their complaints. Being annoyed, local people decided to demolish it themselves. While demolishing it, local people seized good quantity of 'Bangla liquor' kept in four barrels and 10 big plastic pots. Those were deposited in Botlagari UP office.
