They are accused in different criminal cases including highway robbery and arms smuggling.

An Italian pistol, a local revolver along with two magazines, 12 pistol bullets, three revolver bullets and one rifle bullet were recovered from their possession.

Following a raid at Abdul Barik's house in the area, Rab members rounded up two drug peddlers, Kazol, son of Abul Hossain of Tengri-Babupur and Fazlur Rahman, son of Altaf Hossain of Char Mir Kamani.

One SBBL gun, 12 bottles of Indian Phensidyl syrup and one bottle of Indian liquor were recovered from the house.

On their way back to Rajshahi, Rab members recovered 778 bottles of Phensidyl from Khairul Islam's house and 210 bottles from a bush in Bagha upazila, Rajshahi.

Rab members also recovered an idol of Krisna, made of touchstone, from Mohonganj in Bagmara.
