Pilferage of barbed wire on along Kasba border

At least 28 iron angles of border fencing were stolen till now.

Local people informed that unknown persons steal those with the help of local thieves. They alleged that they nabbed a thief with stolen barbed wire and angle last Sunday and handed him over to Bangladesh Rifles (BDR). He is Samsul Haque, 30, son of Montu Mia of Bogir village in Kasba. Three other thieves fled away.

BDR filed a case with Kasba police accusing four persons.

The arrested person was sent to the jail custody, according to police source.
