Inedible rice seized from OMS dealer

A dealer Nirodh Kumar Chowdhury along with two of his accompanies lifted rice from the food godown and sold them at local market at high price. Later, his men procured inedible rice from market for sale under OMS programme.

Being informed, Palashbari UNO Dulal Krisna Shaha along with a police contingent raided the spot and seized 153 kg contaminated rice in three bags.
