Tk 20 lakh cell phones stolen
About 500 mobile sets and 2,000 pre-paid phone cards worth about Tk 20 lakh were stolen from the show room of M K Traders, about 200 yards away from Jessore Kotwali Police Station on Thursday night.
Sixteen persons including two night guards of the area Intaz and Shafique were arrested by police.
Bandits broke open the wall of the show room and committed the dacoity.
