20 hurt in bus mishap

Some of the injured passengers said, the bus belonging to R M Paribahon (no. Pabna-ba-507) plying Khulna-Barisal route was running at high speed ignoring repeated warnings by them. It knocked a rickshaw before hitting the pillar, they said.

People nearby rescued injured passengers and sent them to barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital.

Among the injured, the condition of Fatema, 30, Noman, 26, Munna, 3, Jahanara, 30 and Mizan, 28 are critical, doctors said.
