Govt has lost people's confidence, says Amu

He told this while addressing a meeting organised here by the district unit of the party as the chief guest.

'Development is being hindered due to corruption and politicisation of administration which has become all pervasive,' Amu said.

He called upon the ruling Alliance leaders to help consolidate democracy in the country by showing tolerance.

'People suffer a lot due to lack of tolerance of the Alliance leaders,' he said.

He criticised the government for deterioration in law and order and price hike of essentials. He also blamed the government for sheltering criminals.

Advocate Shahajan, President of district Awami League presided over the meeting while it was addressed by AKM Jahangir Hossain, MP Mahmudur Rahman, Organising Secretary of AL, Mahmbubur Rahman MP and party leaders Harun-or-Rashid Howlader, ASM Feroz, Habibur Rahman, Khan Mosarraf Hossain, Tofazzal Hossain, Uzzal Bose and student leader Jahangir Skider.
