Debate workshop held in Rajshahi
The Bangladesh Debate Federation (BDF) held a day-long workshop styled Rajshahi Divisional Debate Workshop, 2005 at Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) auditorium here yesterday.
Rajshahi University Vice-chancellor Prof Faisul Islam Faruki
inaugurated the workshop as chief guest.
RUET Vice-chancellor Prof AFM Anwarul Haque and Rajshahi Medical College (RMC) Principal Prof Dr Fazlur Rahman were present as special guests.
The workshop began at around 9 am and continued till 6 pm.
At least one thousand students from educational institutions included RU, RUET, RMC, Rajshahi College and Rajshahi Cadet College took part in the debate workshop.
BDF President Bulbul Hassan presided.
Debaters from Dhaka University, BUET, Dhaka Medical College and North South University conducted the sessions.
