Buses keep off Magura-Jessore road

Sources said the undeclared strike is due to a hitch between Magura Bus Owners Association (MBOA) and Jessore Bus Owners Association (JBOA), following which, buses from either district are not crossing the Simakhali bridge on the border of the two districts.

JBOA President Bhushan Ghosh and General Secretary Wahiduzza-man in a joint statement yesterday urged district administrations in Magura and Jessore to intervene to resolve the dispute.
