Both the sides agreed to resole border disputes as per Indo-Bangla Border Treaty of 1975 according to BDR sources.

At the meeting BDR raised the issues of push-in by BSF and erection of barbed wire fencing inside 150 yards of zero line and construction of 160 metre dam to protect village Barshalu at Atwari in Panchagarh, killing of Bangladeshi by BSF and smuggling.
