Outlaw arrested in Khulna

Zakir Hossain Howlader alias Zakir,35, son of Ali Akbar of Khanabari area under Daulatpur thana of Khulna city was arrested by Rab (Rapid Action Battalion) personnel at midnight. A revolver was recovered from his possession.

Rab and police sources told this correspondent, the arrested outlaw is a fugitive criminal who was wanted in several cases including Chhatra League leader Hafizur Rahman murder case and another case relating to bomb attack on patrol police of Khanjahan Ali PS on April 28 last year.
