303 get HDC stipends in Rangamati

RHDC Chairman Dr Maniklal Dewan gave the awards at a function held at the RHDC auditorium on Monday.

Fifty students got Tk 600 each under 'talent pool' scholarship and 253 got Tk 400 each under 'general stipend'. They were selected from among 3000 students from 632 primary schools in the district. RHDC introduced the awards two year ago.

This year, the RHDC spent Tk 3,40,100 for the awards.

The function attended by, among others, officials of RHDC and district primary education.
