Pirates loot Hilsa
One person was injured and hilsa fish worth Tk 3 lakh was looted by pirates from two fishing trawlers at Haldikhali in Dakop upazila in the early hours of Friday.
Injured Naimul Huq, 34, was driver of one of the two fishing trawlers. He is undergoing treatment in Dakop Upazila Health Complex. The trawlers were on way to Khulna from Dublar Char near the Bay of Bengal. The fish belonged to MS Aminia Fish and MS Ajmeri Fish of Skid ghat in the city.
