'Listed' criminal held in Bagerhat
Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) on Wednesday night arrested a 'listed' criminal from Baniakhali village in Morrelganj upazila of Bagerhat district. Three pipe guns were recovered from the pond of his house.
According to Rab, arrested Shah Alam is wanted in 11 criminal cases of Morrelganj police station including murder, toll collection and illegal occupation of shrimp enclosures.
Alam is the headmaster of Baniakhali Government Primary School and younger brother of Khulna City Corporation ward commissioner Mohammod Hossain Mukta.
