Smuggled Buddha statues seized

BDR sources said a squad of 23 Rifles Battalion based in Teknaf conducted the raid in Jhimongkhali area in the Naaf and confiscated the statues and goods from a mechanised boat.

The goods smuggle from Myanmar include 10 statues made of copper and brass, furniture, foreign medicine, cloths and other things.
