One killed by highwaymen

Three persons boarded a microbus near Bogra town to go to Pirganj in Rangpur. One of themBabul--told police that as they crossed Mokamtola police outpost, some passengers in the vehicle attacked them (the three) with sharp weapons and looted money and valuables. They tossed the three on the road from the running vehicle. One of them was crushed under the wheels of another vehicle that sped from behind.

Babul ran to Mokamtola outpost and informed police, who gave a wireless message to Gobandaganj thana. Gobandaganj police barricaded the microbus near Noonkawya bridge, caught the robbers and seized the vehicle. Police identified the arrested bobbers are Sohel, Farid, Habib, Shaheed, Awal, Nazrul.
