Forged notes recovered
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested a man with forged currency notes amounting to Tk 40,000 on Saturday from Satkhira town.
Rab sources said, acting on a tip-off, they arrested Abdul Aziz Sardar from a hotel in Haritala area in the town with 70 forged 500 taka notes and 100 forged 50 taka nones.
He was taken to the Rab Khulna divisional office for interrogation, the sources said.
