Municipal staff place 11-pt demand

Mosharraf Hossain, general secretary of the Federation and its leaders Harun Mia, Aziz Shahin, Khairul Hassan, Kanchan Ali, Abdur Razzak, Abdur Rashid, Abu Bakkar, Bazlur Rahman and Nur Hussein addressed the gathering.

They called for immediate implementation of their demand. These include introduction of pension, separate pay scale, improvement of their service status, housing facility and inclusion of municipal employees' services in the revenue budget.

The BCC Mayor, expressing his solidarity with the employees, assured them that their demands would be placed at the meeting of Mayors of City Corporations.
