Rivals stab JCD activist on RU campus

Abdullah Al-Mamun, a first year student of Political Science Depart-ment was attacked by a group of JCD cadres led by Mamun and Shohel after an altercation near Shahid-ullah Arts Building, sources said.

Mamun and Shohel are two leaders of JCD Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Hall unit.

Critically injured Abdullah Al-Mamun was rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) immediately after the incident.

Sources said, Mamun and Shohel threatened the victim on several occasions not to join the procession and meeting of their rival Aslam Reza faction.
