Shamsur Rahman, Manik Shah get Ahmedul Kabir Gold Medal

Barrister Nihad Kabir, daughter of noted journalist Ahmedul Kabir distributed the awards at a simple ceremony at Keshabpur on Saturday. The selection was made by Ahmedul Kabir Memorial Medal Committee. Ahmedul Kabir was the Chief Editor of daily Sangbad, published from Dhaka.

Selina Akhter Lucky, widow of Shamsur Rahman received the award on behalf of her late husband. Manik Shah's widow did not turn up to receive award.
