Transport strike in Sylhet

They called the strike demanding immediate withdrawal of two additional offices of Mitali Paribahan at Gowainghat and Rashidur. Its buses ply on the Dhaka-Sylhet route.

The decision was taken at a meeting held at its office at Moulvibazar on Thursday night. Leaders of Sylhet District Transport Owners and Sylhet District Transport Workers' Union also expressed their solidarity with the strikers.
