Removal of Mymensingh drug super demanded

At a press conference at the local Press Club on Saturday, leaders of Mymensingh unit of Bangladesh Chemist and Druggist Samity (BCDS) alleged that the district drug superintendent demands bribe for renewing drug licence and often harasses them on different pleas even if they do not do anything illegal.

Recently, the drug superintendent in a drive in Muktagacha upazila headquarter seized some medicines terming those illegal. But later those were proved legal, they claimed. They also demanded an investigation into his activities by higher authorities.
