Dinajpur dist BNP body dissolved

BNP office secretary Mafiqul Hasan Tripty issued a letter on Thursday saying the committee was dissolved following expiry of term.

However, party insiders said the committee was dissolved following intra-party rivalry and corruption of the committee leaders.

Several arrest warrants were issued against the 'corrupt' leaders.

Police conducted several raids on their house recently, but failed to nab them, according police sources.

After dissolution of the committee, a big contingent of police force was deployed in the town to avert any untoward incident.
