Gambler son kills father
A gambler son killed his father and injured his mother as they refused to give him money for gambling.
The incident took place at Betal village in Kotiadi upazila in Kishoreganj district.
Police said Mintu attacked his parents Sobhan Mia and Amena with lethal weapons Thursday night, killing the 68 year-old father on the spot. The son fled away after the incident.
The 60 year-old injured mother has been admitted to Zahirul Islam Medical College and Hospital.
A case was filed with Kotiadi thana.
