Diarrhoea: 3 killed, 200 attacked in Khagrachhari

Khagrachhari civil surgeon (CS) office sources confirmed the deaths and identified the victims as Chikon Bala Tripura, 32, Halendra Tripura, 42, and Shahin, 8.

The worst affected areas are Maratillalatiban, Fatema Nagar and some remote villages in Panchhari upazila where 100 people were attacked with the disease. In Mohalchhari, Laxmichhari and Matiranga upazilas, 100 others are suffering from the disease.

Meanwhile, 100 people are attacked with malaria in Manikchhari thana but the Health Department took no initiative to control the situation.
