It is not fair to dismiss the RAB officials if they are not guilty, but if they are guilty, dismissal is not sufficient for them. They should be tried and brought to justice, although RAB never bothered about trials before the 'killings in crossfire'.

I am always against this arrangement of deputing military officials in civil matters. The erosion has reached such a level that general citizens have started to lose respect for our defense force. Please stop this practice and let them be in the cantonments.

These accused RAB personnel should immediately be taken to official custody and tried in the open court following Bangladesh penal code for abduction and murder.
