A great example of humanity!

A great example of humanity!

Recently an episode telecast by the Sony Entertainment Television in its 'Crime Patrol' series (real life events) has touched my heart. A man named Nasir had been on regular dialysis as both of his kidneys had gone out of order. He came in contact with a human organ trader who promised Nasir to manage one kidney in exchange of 4 lac rupees. Nasir paid the trader 2.5 rupees as advance. But the trader disappeared without keeping his commitment. Nasir was a member of a poor family. His school-teacher aunt had arranged 2.5 lac rupees with much difficulty. Nasir was totally broken down after being defrauded of his money. Later it was heard that the human organ trader was actually arrested by the police as human organ trading is illegal and Nasir's money was also seized by the police.

One day Nasir was going to the hospital for dialysis and in the bus he met with a Christian priest who showed great sympathy to Nasir after knowing his story. He donated one of his kidneys to Nasir. Being requested by the father, some people generously contributed money to bear Nasir's treatment costs including surgery and post-operative costs.

Around the world there are a huge number of kidney patients with impaired kidneys. Let's give them chance to live.
