OMAR SANI to play Modhu Da

Modhu Da, the man behind University of Dhaka's Modhur Canteen, was killed by Pakistani soldiers in 1971. 

Based on his life, director Saidur Rahman Sayed is making a film, aptly titiled, Modhur Canteeen. It will have Omar Sani in the lead role.

The film's shooting is scheduled to begin in the last week of November in Dhaka.
