Prison Break set for return?

According to TV Line, 20th Century Fox is working on a revival of hit TV series “Prison Break”, which starred Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell and ran on its airwaves from 2005 through 2009. This will be a limited series affair, and will reportedly reunite the two stars who played brothers escaping from prison in the original run. There was more to the story than that, but that's the overall plotline.

However, there's not much more to the report. Concrete details are being kept under wraps for the time being, but should this happen, and it's not a definite thing just yet, it would likely be similar in size and scope to the network's last-year's revisitation of “24”. This means it will likely feature roughly a dozen episodes and revolve around a single story arc that doesn't leave things particularly open at the end.

Both Miller and Purcell have stayed busy since the cancellation of “Prison Break”: Miller has appeared in a bunch of movies, even writing the script for Park Chan-wook's English-language debut “Stoker”. Purcell has filled his time appearing in a ton of low-budget action movies where he generally plays gruff tough guys.
