This World Refugee Day, there is an urgent need to invest in collective efforts to allow the Rohingya to become self-reliant.

A record 100 million people are currently displaced around the world. Almost one million of these refugees live in Bangladesh's Cox's Bazar.

Bangladesh ranks third in the world among the countries most hit by natural disasters. Its low elevation and high population density make it particularly vulnerable to these climate hazards, including cyclones, flooding and rising sea levels.

Today, there are more than 82 million people around the world fleeing war, violence, persecution, and human rights violations.
