It seems that nothing can get through without bribing and it is a miracle that we still have nearly 6 percent GDP growth. Double-digit GDP growth might not be an impossibility, had there been no corruption and bribery. It is ironic that politicians are always here to take credit for the progress of the country, whereas it is the politicians who are the biggest obstacles to the rapid growth of the country.

Bribe money is also spent to buy goods and services, which, probably contributes to GDP, although a little bit less efficiently.
