“Bribery by two anti-graft men,” published on June 18, 2014

I don't think losing job as punishment is enough for these ACC officials accused in the complaint. They should be held accountable and judged with higher standard of law. Jail terms are absolutely necessary, if they are found guilty. The ACC act may be amended for that purpose.

It appears that the fence is eating up the fruits.

Bangladesh is now run by corrupt unelected representatives. Every institution is politicised and corrupted.

Will the government kindly frame a rule/law in a way so that it becomes mandatory for all ACC officials to state their assets periodically to a body such as parliamentary standing committee? This is really important and should be done in no time; otherwise ACC will soon become a worthless institution.
Hardreality
Hilarious! If personnel from this body are involved in bribery, then every corrupt person from everywhere will get away by committing crime. ACC should know that this kind of news makes this institution a laughing stock to people. ACC should clean its house first with exemplary punishment. Otherwise, why on earth people will take them seriously?

One won't be surprised if an announcement comes from the top with the following content: “It's all a huge international conspiracy against these two decent men. They are completely innocent of any wrongdoing! The developer should be arrested and put in jail immediately for harassment and be interrogated to establish which foreign hand is behind all this!”
