Incepta Pharmaceuticals has come up with Linatab-E, a groundbreaking combination for diabetic patients, which will play a major role in controlling and treating diabetes, analysts said today.

They spoke at a scientific seminar on "Breaking through combination diabetes management" organised by Incepta Pharmaceuticals at Pan Pacific Sonargaon in the capital.

Incepta, the country's leading pharmaceutical company, has introduced the drug, which has given new hope to diabetic patients, the participants of the seminar said.

"It is currently the most modern and safest drug for diabetic control, a combination of linagliptin and ampagliflozin."

This drug is being used around the world as a safe and groundbreaking drug for the treatment of diabetic patients who have simultaneous heart problems, they said.

This is because its use is not likely to cause a sudden drop in blood glucose levels, which is considered a major obstacle in the treatment of diabetes, they added.

National Professor Dr AK Azad Khan attended the event as the chief guest.
