Uddipan, Hishab team up for seamless communication with borrowers

Microcredit financing institute Uddipan has signed an agreement with Hishab Technologies to ensure seamless communication between borrowers and microfinance institutions.

Bidyut Kumar Basu, executive director and chief executive officer of Uddipan, and Mio Ahmed, head of business development at Hishab Technologies Ltd, signed the agreement at the former's head office on Tuesday.

Under the agreement, Uddipan will be able to use a voice user interface solution developed by Hishab throughout their business operation, according to a press release.

Ito Naoki, ambassador of Japan to Bangladesh, attended the event as the chief guest while Mihir Kanti Majumder, chairman of Uddipan; Md Fashiullah, executive vice-chairman of Microcredit Regulatory Authority; Md Shahid Hossain Talukder, emeritus chairman of Uddipan, and Zubair Ahmed, chief executive officer of Hishab Technologies, were also present.
