Anwarul Islam elected president of BRAMA
Anwarul Islam, proprietor of Simplex Corporation Limited, has been elected as the president of the Bangladesh Refrigeration and Airconditioning Merchants Association (BRAMA) from Sammilito Baboshayee Parishad for a two-year term (2025-27).
According to a press release, Md Jahirul Haque Khan and Md Mainudding Prodhania have been elected vice-presidents of the association.
Md Shamsuddin Babul, Md Ershad Haider, Md Shafiuddin, Md Kamruzzaman Khan, Md Jasim Uddin Bhuiyan, Md Faruk Hossain, Md Abdul Gaffar Bakshi, Ziaul Haque Bhuiyan, Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman, Md Imarat Mollah, Md Salim, and Md Sadman Shakib Dewan included in the 17-member committee as directors.
Arifa Khatun and Md Aminul Haque Babul have also been elected as associate directors of the new committee.
Firoz Al Mamun conducted the election as the chief election commissioner.
Tarafdar Sohel Rahman, administrator of BRAMA, handed over the charge to the newly elected committee.
After taking the oath, newly elected president Anwarul Islam pledged to work collectively for the development of the association, the welfare of its members, and the progress of the industry.
The association hopes that under the leadership of the new committee, the sector will become more dynamic, modern, and quality-oriented.
