Dhaka Bank signs corporate benefits deal with Ramada by Wyndham Cox’s Bazar

Dhaka Bank PLC recently signed a corporate benefit agreement with Ramada by Wyndham Cox’s Bazar Kolatoli Beach, a premier coastal hotel, to provide privileges to its customers.

Md Mostaque Ahmed, deputy managing director and chief emerging market officer of the bank, and Chevan Gooneratne, general manager of the hotel, signed the agreement on the hotel’s premises in Cox’s Bazar, according to a press release.

Under the agreement, Dhaka Bank employees, cardholders and eligible customers will enjoy a wide range of privileges and discounts at the hotel.

The benefits include a discount of up to 50 percent on room accommodation during the tourist season, up to 60 percent during the off-season, 50 percent on banquet hall bookings, 10 percent on à la carte dining, and 25 percent on spa services, making leisure and hospitality experiences more affordable and convenient for Dhaka Bank customers.

As part of the partnership, the hotel has also adopted Dhaka Bank’s Bangla QR as one of its official digital payment solutions, enabling guests to make secure and seamless cashless payments.

The formal inauguration of the Bangla QR installation was held alongside the signing ceremony, reflecting the shared commitment of both organisations to accelerating digital transformation and promoting a modern, convenient payment ecosystem.

Osman Ershad Faiz, managing director and CEO of the bank, attended the signing ceremony.

AMM Moyen Uddin, deputy managing director; HM Mostafizur Rahaman, senior executive vice-president and head of the retail business division; Md Altamas Nirjhar, head of the general services division; and Md Ariful Hoque, head of transformation, also joined the event.

The partnership reflects the shared commitment of the bank and the hotel to providing greater value and premium hospitality benefits to the bank’s employees, cardholders and customers through lifestyle privileges.

Shahadat Hossain, front office manager of the hotel, and Meherin Jahan Mitu, assistant manager of corporate sales, along with other senior officials from both organisations, were also present at the ceremony.
