SBAC Bank holds 13th AGM

SBAC Bank PLC yesterday organised its 13th annual general meeting (AGM) at the RAOWA Convention Centre in Dhaka.

Md Moklesur Rahman, chairman of the bank, presided over the meeting as the chief guest, according to a press release.

Mohammed Ayub, sponsor director of the bank; Prof Md Maksudur Rahman Sarker, independent director and chairman of the board audit committee; AKM Delwer Hussain and Major (retd) Abu Fateh Md Bashirur Rahman, directors; and SM Mainul Kabir, managing director and CEO, physically attended the meeting.

The shareholders approved the audited financial statements for the year that ended on December 31, 2025, the election of directors, and seven other agenda items at the meeting.

Towhedur Rahman, company secretary (current charge) of the bank, moderated the programme.

Md Rabiul Islam and Abdul Quaium Chowdhury, additional managing directors of the bank; Md Altaf Hossain Bhuyan, deputy managing director; along with divisional heads and senior executives, also attended the meeting.
