150 rooms gutted in Gazipur

Fire gutted 150 tin-roofed houses in Konabari area of Gazipur yesterday.

Fire Service officials said the fire might have originated from the gas stove at one of the one-room houses around 8:30am and spread to the adjoining houses soon.

Fire-fighters doused the blaze after one and half an hour, they added.
