26th death anniv of ATM Walie Ashraf

Today is the 26th death anniversary of ATM Walie Ashraf,  freedom fighter and former member of parliament from Brahmanbaria-6.

To mark the day, milad and doa mahfils will be held at his Mayakanan residence and grave in Bancharampur of Brahmanbaria.

Walie was a political leader, social worker and journalist, who worked for BBC and  was founder editor of Bengali weekly Janomot.

Relatives, friends and well-wishers are requested to pray for the salvation of his departed soul.
