5 pro-AL men hurt in bomb attack

Five activists of Jubo League were injured in a bomb attack by unidentified criminals in Macherdia village of Sadar upazila in Chuadanga on Thursday night.

Sagar Hossain, Tota Mia, Bishu, Alek, and Rafiqul Islam are of Mominpur Union Parishad unit of the youth wing of the ruling Awami League, confirmed Faruk Ahmed, president of the AL unit.

Around five people riding motorcycles threw the bomb while the five were gossiping before Sonar Bangla Club, said Chuadanga Sadar police Officer-in-Charge Saiful Islam. Their rivals in the party might have attacked them, he said.11
