50,000 yaba pills seized in Ctg

Bangladesh Coast Guard recovered 50,000 pieces of contraband yaba tablets, worth Tk 2.5 crore, from Gohira Chipatolirghat area of Chittagong early yesterday.

Acting on a tip-off, drives were conducted at some 15 houses around 4:00am and the pills were seized from one of them, coast guard said. None was arrested.
